Aroma Therapy
I love essential oils and many years ago learned all about them and how to use them correctly.
The range of essential oils grows and grows and it's a delightful process mixing some of these oils with a good quality Carrier Oil or Base Oil as some call it and use that for a massage. A lot of websites say that one can add 10ml of an oil to the bath water and have a nice, relaxing bath. I have found however that by doing this the oil seems to float at the surface and leaves this oily residue on the body. I would recommend when wanting to have an oil bath, to mix the oil with a little milk - mix it well and then pour that below the running tap. Doing it this way will disperse the oil a lot better. |
The best way to store Essential Oils is in a wooden box. It's easier to have them all together like that and it looks good. The main reason for storing them like this is because the wooden box keeps the bright, warm daylight out. The darker the bottles used and then stored inside a wooden box, the longer the oils keep their qualities. |
